About the Project

We have recently completed a roof renewal and extensive external repair and redecoration scheme to a period property in Hampstead. The property had suffered from roof and balcony leaks and the brick work to the main elevation had been painted over during the 1980’s of the property from a single house to multiple apartments.

We oversaw the project from start to finish, undertaking an initial detailed condition survey, specifying and tendering the works, then acted as Project Manager and Contract Administrator. We also liaised with the local council regarding planning and building control requirements with the property located within a Conservation Area.

The works included the removal of an old painted finish to the main entrance wall and replacement of brick window headers that had subsided due to the presence of large trees in the vicinity. The works were completed to a high standard and as well as addressing the water ingress issues, the brick repairs and new roof have dramatically improved the building’s kerb appeal.
