Acquisition Survey

We were appointed to undertake a pre-acquisition survey for a five storey commercial office development situated on the JVC Business Park industrial site in Brent Cross. The office development comprises approximately 60,000 sqft of commercial office space and our client was looking to obtain the freehold ownership of the building. The building was fully occupied with existing tenants and our client needed to understand what their potential liability and the financial expenditure that might be required over the next 10 year period might be.

Squarepoint coordinated a full due diligence survey and report, including specialist input from Structural Engineer and Building Services consultants to provide the client with a comprehensive report outlining the potential capital expenditure that will be required at the building over a 10 year period. Our survey also included a 3D scan of the building to provide the client with a convenient and highly detailed record of the building. Our report allowed our client to clearly understand their potential liability as freehold owner and assisted with the successful acquisition of the building.
